Kevin Barry

Kevin Barry is Group IT Manager at Black & White Engineering, based in Dubai, where he leads the development and delivery of the company’s global IT strategy and infrastructure. Since joining the business in 2023, Kevin has brought over 25 years of experience in IT systems, cloud technologies and enterprise architecture, supporting the continued growth and digital maturity of the organisation.

Kevin holds multiple industry-recognised certifications, including Microsoft Azure Cloud Administrator, AWS Cloud Solutions Architect and AWS Cloud Practitioner. His expertise spans multi-cloud environments, with deep knowledge of Azure, AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), enabling him to design and implement scalable, secure and high-performing IT solutions that support a global business.

His technical capabilities extend across enterprise IT systems, including Microsoft 365 platforms such as Exchange, SharePoint and OneDrive, where he has led large-scale migrations and implementations. Kevin also brings significant experience in data centre IT infrastructure design, implementation and management, aligning closely with Black & White’s core focus on mission-critical environments.

In his role, Kevin is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security and efficiency of IT systems across the organisation. He plays a key role in shaping IT security strategy, implementing robust frameworks that protect business operations while enabling collaboration and innovation across global teams. His work supports the seamless integration of systems and processes, underpinning Black & White’s “One Global Team” approach.

Kevin is also an experienced project manager, applying methodologies such as PRINCE2 and Agile to deliver IT initiatives effectively. His structured and proactive approach ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned with business objectives.

Known for his broad technical expertise and practical mindset, Kevin plays a vital role in enabling the business to operate efficiently and securely at scale.
