Sarah Ingram

Sarah Ingram is Head of Design Management for Europe at Black & White Engineering, based in the London office. She leads the company’s Design Management function across the region, ensuring our design management is delivered consistently in line with client objectives and Black & White’s global standards.

Sarah has a strong academic and technical background in civil and structural engineering, holding a BEng (Hons) and MSc. She is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (CEng MICE) and holds a Project Management Qualification (APM PMQ), reflecting her combined expertise in both engineering and project delivery.

With a breadth of experience across large-scale infrastructure and mission-critical projects, Sarah has developed a deep understanding of design coordination and project management in complex environments. She has worked on international data centre and infrastructure projects, where she has been responsible for managing design processes, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and supporting our clients.

In her role at Black & White, Sarah is responsible for leading the Design Management team in Europe, ensuring that projects are delivered through a structured, collaborative and well-coordinated approach. She works closely with clients, consultants and internal teams to align design objectives, manage risk and drive efficient delivery across all project stages. Her background enables her to effectively manage and support sub-consultants, ensuring that projects are delivered seamlessly as one integrated team.

Sarah is known for her strong interpersonal skills and her focus on building lasting client relationships. She places a high value on communication, collaboration and client experience, ensuring that projects are delivered not only to technical and commercial expectations but also with a high level of service and engagement.

Her leadership supports Black & White’s “One Global Team” approach, bringing together expertise from across the business to deliver coordinated, high-quality solutions. With a clear focus on delivery excellence and team development, Sarah continues to play a key role in strengthening the company’s Design Management capability.
