Khan Moid Hasan

Khan Moid Hasan is a Global Design Hub Director at Black & White Engineering, based in New Delhi, where he leads project delivery, office operations and team development for the India hub. He is responsible for the overall management and performance of the office, including planning, resource allocation, and operational efficiency. He plays a key role in coordinating with global offices and clients to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across a wide range of complex engineering projects.

A mechanical engineer with over 20 years of experience, Moid brings a strong combination of technical expertise and strategic insight to the full MEP project lifecycle. His experience spans design development, construction support, testing and commissioning through to final handover, enabling him to deliver solutions that are both technically robust and aligned with client and operational requirements.

Moid has successfully led HVAC design development and multidisciplinary MEP coordination across projects in Asia and the Middle East. His portfolio includes more than 100 completed projects across sectors such as district cooling, hospitality, high-end residential, mixed-use developments, commercial buildings and data centres. Notable work includes a seawater-cooled district cooling plant for a major mixed-use development in Jordan—demonstrating his capability in delivering innovative, large-scale infrastructure solutions.

He has also built extensive experience in the hospitality sector, working with leading global brands including IHG, Marriott, Carlson and Hyatt. His contribution to the development of design guidelines for IHG reflects both his technical depth and his ability to influence best practice at a strategic level.

In his role at Black & White, Moid is responsible for leading India GDH offices, handling office management, developing & managing multidisciplinary teams, ensuring efficient resource planning and maintaining alignment with global delivery standards. He works closely with international teams to support the company’s “One Global Team” approach, enabling seamless collaboration and high-performance outcomes across projects.

Moid is known for his proactive and forward-thinking approach, with a strong focus on implementing the latest technologies to achieve energy-efficient and sustainable design solutions. He also brings significant experience in witness testing and commissioning, ensuring that systems perform to specification and deliver long-term value for clients.
