Arman Yango

Arman Yango is Global Design Hub Director at Black & White Engineering, based in Manila, where he leads the electrical engineering function alongside his broader role in overseeing the performance and delivery of the Global Design Hub. With nearly three decades of experience in the building services industry, Arman brings deep technical expertise and strong leadership to the delivery of complex, international projects.

A Registered Electrical Engineer and member of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines (IIEE), Arman began his career in 1997 and has since developed extensive experience across a wide range of roles, including Designer, Project Engineer, Project Management Engineer, Engineering Head and Design Manager. This breadth of experience gives him a well-rounded perspective on project delivery, enabling him to manage both technical detail and wider operational performance effectively.

In his current role, Arman is responsible for managing technical operations across the Global Design Hub, ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, efficiency and consistency. His responsibilities include overseeing team resourcing, supervising project delivery, leading technical design and design reviews, and ensuring appropriate approvals and governance are in place across all stages of a project. He also works closely with lead offices across Black & White’s global network, supporting design coordination and maintaining alignment with the company’s standards and delivery approach.

Arman plays a key role in monitoring the financial and commercial performance of design projects, ensuring that delivery is not only technically robust but also commercially effective. His structured and detail-focused approach helps to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the expected level of quality.

His core expertise includes developing engineering schemes, concept design and the preparation of tender documentation. He is known for his precision, reliability and ability to lead teams in delivering clear, coordinated and high-performing design solutions.
