Ashish Tiwari

Ashish Tiwari is Global Design Hub Director at Black & White Engineering, based in New Delhi, where he plays a key role in leading project delivery, team performance and client engagement across the India hub. He is responsible for managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with global offices and ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently, consistently and to the highest standards of quality. 

A qualified Electrical and Electronics Engineer, Ashish also holds a postgraduate diploma in Fire and Safety Management, bringing specialist expertise in fire life safety (FLS) to his role. He is a certified FLS Auditor, reflecting his strong technical capability and in-depth understanding of safety standards and compliance within complex building environments. 

Ashish has developed extensive experience across the building services industry, working on both new and existing developments across a broad range of sectors. His portfolio includes commercial, education, healthcare, residential, hospitality and technology-led projects, including data centres. This diverse experience allows him to approach projects with a well-rounded perspective, ensuring that solutions are both technically robust and aligned with client and operational requirements. 

He has also contributed to wider industry conversations, participating as a speaker at the Chennai Cloud & Datacenter Convention 2025.  Ashish shared his insights on simplifying the process of building data centres, demonstrating his commitment to knowledge sharing and advancing best practice within the sector. 

He has been involved in delivering projects for leading global hospitality brands such as IHG, Marriott, Radisson, Hilton and Sheraton. His contribution to the development of design guidelines for IHG highlights his ability to influence best practice and support consistency across international project portfolios. 

In his role at Black & White, Ashish is focused on ensuring seamless coordination between teams and offices, supporting the company’s “One Global Team” approach. He works closely with clients and colleagues to deliver clear, practical engineering solutions, maintaining strong communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. 

Ashish is known for his structured and detail-oriented approach, underpinned by a strong working knowledge of building services engineering and up-to-date industry standards. He is committed to continuous improvement, ensuring that both teams and projects perform at a consistently high level.
