Building Information Modelling (BIM)
We deliver BIM engineering as an integrated part of every project, the foundation on which all design, coordination and information management is built.
What is BIM?
Building Information Modelling (BIM) is the process of creating and managing all information about a built asset digitally, within a shared, coordinated model environment. For data centre projects, where multiple disciplines must be precisely coordinated within demanding technical and programme constraints, BIM is the framework that makes right-first-time delivery achievable.
At Black & White Engineering, BIM engineering is embedded in our design processes and management systems from the outset. Our internal management systems are certified to BIM Level 2 under ISO 19650 and PAS 91:2013, and are underpinned by UKAS-accredited ISO 9001 quality management.
What we deliver
Our BIM service covers the full scope of digital design and information management from initial model setup and BIM Execution Plan authoring through to contractor integration and handover.
