Multi-building Hyperscale Campus Delivered in Malaysia

Black & White Engineering provided multi-disciplinary peer review and client representation across the full design and construction stages of a multi-building hyperscale campus in Johor Bahru. The appointment covered all MEP, architecture, civil and structural and security aspects, with the primary objective of ensuring completed facilities met capacity targets, complied with client and tenant specifications and achieved ambitious Ready for Service (RFS) timelines.

The Brief

The client required an independent technical partner to review design and construction outputs across the campus programme, represent their interests through the delivery process and provide on-site support to ensure compliance and quality were maintained throughout. The pace of delivery made technical rigour at every stage critical.

Client Representation

Acting as the client’s technical representative throughout, our team provided a consistent point of accountability across the full programme, raising and resolving issues, tracking compliance and maintaining clear communication between the client and the delivery team.

BIM Coordination and Clash Detection

Significant BIM coordination was undertaken across the programme, ensuring Building Execution Plan requirements were maintained and clash detection issues were identified and resolved throughout delivery reducing construction risk and supporting the accelerated programme.
