Working closely with local and global engineering teams, you will ensure that drawing production and information management meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
What’s in it for you?
Work at the centre of project delivery
The accuracy of design information is fundamental to how projects are built and operated. In this role, your work is not peripheral — it sits at the heart of how Black & White Engineering delivers for its clients. Every drawing checked, every model coordinated, and every output produced contributes directly to project success.
Collaboration across a global team
You will work as part of our One Global Team, liaising with engineers and project colleagues across multiple offices and time zones. It is an opportunity to build relationships across a genuinely international business and develop your understanding of how complex, multidisciplinary projects come together.
A role that rewards attention to detail
Black & White Engineering holds quality at the centre of everything it does. If you take pride in getting things right first time and you are thorough in how you approach your work, you will find this is a team that recognises and values that mindset.
Exposure to specialist infrastructure projects
Our work focuses on data centres and critical infrastructure — a technically demanding and fast-growing sector. The experience you build here carries real weight in the industry, and the projects you support will develop your knowledge across MEP engineering and the wider built environment.
Learning and development as standard
Black & White Engineering invests in its people. Whether you are looking to develop your technical skills further or broaden your understanding of BIM processes and project delivery, you will have access to the training and support to do it.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Solid working knowledge of CAD, including layering, x-refs, and paper space and model space conventions, gained through a degree, relevant qualification or practical experience.
- Experience producing and modifying engineering drawings to a high standard of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve drawing inaccuracies before they reach the wider team.
- Ability to manage and prioritise your own workload across multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Good communication skills, with experience liaising with engineering staff and, where required, clients regarding drawing requirements.
In addition, you will be joining a community that focuses on learning and development through regular knowledge sharing sessions, investment in accredited professional courses or educational programmes. You can set the pace for your professional development, and whatever path you choose, you will receive relevant support.
